It was an okay day for the massive tie scenarios in the NL. The Phillies lost, while the Marlins, Rockies and Giants all won. The AL went exactly opposite of what was needed, as the Yankees and Angels won, but the three wild card contenders, Boston, Texas and Tampa Bay all lost.
