Saturday turned out to be okay for the massive tie scenario in the National League. The Marlins gained a game on the Phillies, Rockies and Giants and maintained their distance from the Dodgers. Three Marlins homers accounted for six of their 11 runs as they ran their record to against Washington to 12-5.
