It's time to plan for October. Here's your predicted schedule for Wednesday, Oct. 7, opening day of the postseason: From afternoon to night, it will be Rockies at Phillies, Cardinals at Dodgers, Tigers at Yankees. A couple of assumptions: The Dodgers will win the West and the Phillies will finish with a better record than the Cardinals. Also, the Tigers will hold off the Twins but even if they don't, the Yankees will play in primetime on Wednesday (and, for that matter, every other night they're playing).
