Friday is shaping up to be a bubbly kind of day around Major League Baseball.
The St. Louis Cardinals and Los Angeles Dodgers could both enjoy champagne baths Friday by securing playoff berths. The corks will pop for an NL Central title if the Cardinals can get it done in Colorado or if the Cubs lose, and the Dodgers can assure themselves of postseason play if they win in Pittsburgh or Atlanta loses.
