The Braves, who came to Houston in a stone-cold funk at the plate, did nothing in their first two games against the Astros to make anyone think things were about to change. Just like the Phillies before them, the Braves entered Minute Maid Park, known as hitter-friendly, and found themselves enduring a bout of hitting amnesia, getting a combined eight hits in their first two games of the series.
