Like a bad case of acid reflux, the Chicago Cubs may eventually come bubbling back into relevance in this baseball season. But for the time being, the first-place Cardinals have stopped glancing back into their rear-view mirror and instead have begun dwelling on the bigger and grander things lurking on the horizon.
