Chris Carpenter has a Cy Young Award, a 20-win season and a World Series ring -- one of each, just like new teammate John Smoltz. But for all his accomplishments, Carpenter acknowledges that Smoltz is someone he looks up to. Carpenter is an All-Star; Smoltz is going to be a Hall of Famer.
