The Pirates' bullpen welcomed two fresh members on Friday. Right-handers Jose Ascanio and Chris Bootcheck became the bullpen's latest additions, as two roster spots opened up just prior to Pittsburgh's three-game series against the Cardinals, which continues on Saturday.
