What: Memphis vs. Nashville

Four-time All-Star third baseman Troy Glaus will attempt to learn how to play the outfield in an effort to rejoin the St. Louis Cardinals sooner rather than later. Glaus began a rehab assignment with Class A Advanced Palm Beach on July 11 and joined Triple-A Memphis on Sunday. Discomfort in his throwing arm makes Glaus unable to rejoin the Cardinals at third base just yet, but if he can prove himself this week he could rejoin the team as an outfielder until his arm fully recovers. This would be good news for the Cards as the two-time Silver Slugger's bat is greatly missed in their lineup. Glaus will play with Memphis in the series against Nashville before being reevaluated on Friday.
