Troy Glaus Expected To Pass Through Waivers; Rangers May Be Interested

Glaus, believe it or not, is currently ranked as a Type-A free agent for this coming offseason. And actually has a better chance of remaining a Type-A if he doesn't play since there is some pro-rating of statistics during a DL year as part of the complicated Elias rankings. It probably does not matter, however, because the Cardinals would be unlikely to offer arbitration to Glaus and risk him taking it; and he just might take it because no other team is likely to forfeit two draft picks to sign Glaus.
