Tony LaRussa Takes Issue With Critical Remarks; Blake Hawksworth Down, Kyle Lohse Activated; Troy Glaus Begins Rehab; Todd Wellemeyer Used In Relief
Cardinals manager Tony La Russa and Fox Midwest analyst Al Hrabosky exchanged volleys Sunday, two days after Hrabosky cited catcher Yadier Molina's indifference to running out a pop fly in the team's 8-3 win over the Chicago Cubs.
Why would LaRussa "blast" Hrabosky for stating the obvious [Molina should have hustled out the pop up]? After all, doesn't LaRussa preach, "always play a hard nine"? Or, does that only apply to "some players" some of the time?
