And according to one article the St. Louis Cardinals are considered to be one of six serious contenders in the “Halladay Trade Sweepstakes.” And sports talk radio in St. Louis milked this story from every possible angle. As I traveled around making sales calls, I heard perspectives from Bryan Burwell, Pat Paris, Buster Olney, Bernie Mikalez, Joe Strauss, Randy Karriker, Bob Ramsey, and Demarco Farr...You get the picture. And that’s not even close to all of the hosts/guests that shared their opinions on ESPN radio today. After hearing these opinions, I have concluded that there is no possibility that the Cardinals would ever seriously consider trading for Halladay.
