Ryan Ray Franklin is riding to the rescue for the St. Louis Cardinals. Or so it seems. Just look at it this way:
Without the sturdy right arm of the 36-year-old Franklin at the back of the Cardinals' bullpen, there's no telling where the Cardinals would be nesting in the congested National League Central. I'd say they wouldn't be sitting in first place.
