The Cardinals will soon begin their long-dreaded day-night doubleheade to conclude the season’s unofficial first half. The club has optioned Blake Hawksworth to Triple-A Memphis in order to activate Game 1 starter Kyle Lohse from the disabled list. Jason La Rue will catch the opener with Yadier Molina set to handle Adam Wainwright in the nightcap.
