BL Blogcast: Brett Wallace On His Future & Futures Game

St. Louis Cardinals first-round pick Brett Wallace, who about a year ago was just hanging up his aluminum bat for the last time, skipped two singles through the Round Rock infield last night to raise his average to .299. Not too far removed from a 15-game hitting streak that put him on the path back to being a .300 hitter, Wallace said yesterday afternoon that he didn’t see the streak as a surge to get BA back but a sign of what he “should be all the time, not highs and lows, but that consistent hitter who can do that every game.”
