The Springfield Cardinals activated first baseman Mark Hamilton from the disabled list before tonight's 7:05 p.m. game at the Tulsa Drillers.

Springfield Cardinals right-hander David Kopp has been placed on the disabled list with stiffness in his throwing shoulder. Kopp, a 2007 second-round pick, received treatment on the shoulder this week and had it examined in the training room after his start Monday.
