Ex-Cardinals Watch 6-14-09:Jason Isringhausen & Coco Crisp Hit D.L.; Jack Wilson Trade Interest; Scott Vander Weg Activated

Jason Isringhausen (Rays):
It doesn't look good for RHP Jason Isringhausen.

The Rays placed the veteran reliever on the 60-day disabled list with an injury to his surgically-repaired right elbow, suffered in the ninth inning of Saturday's game. (They needed to make a corresponding 40-man roster move to make room for RHP Winston Abreu).

Jack Wilson (Pirates):
The Pirates and Boston have had trade talks regarding shortstop Jack Wilson, but no move in that direction seems imminent or even likely based on how talks have gone to this point.

Christian Rosa (Free Agent):
Christian Rosa is a former RedWolves player who also played for the Cardinals’ rookie-league team in the New York-Penn League last summer. He was released by the Cardinals after spring training in March. He’s now working for the RedWolves and hoping to catch on with another organization.

Center fielder Coco Crisp's continuing battle with a sore right shoulder finally put him on the 15-day disabled list on Sunday.
