Manager Tony La Russa insists Rick Ankiel is available to play and is indeed likely to be in Saturday’s lineup against lefty Barry Zito. However, La Russa thought Chris Duncan in left field and Colby Rasmus in center a better match with Ryan Ludwick in right tonight.
