Right Situation, Jim Edmonds Could Return

Jim Edmonds. After the Padres released him, Edmonds rebounded with an excellent run as a Cub. Nevertheless, no team has made a serious run at Edmonds, who turns 39 in June.

"In the right situation," Edmonds would play again, his agent Paul Cohen said. "I don't' know that that is coming."

Cohen also represents former Met Damion Easley, who also would still like to play. Easley lives in Arizona, while Edmonds shuttles between St. Louis and California, Cohen said.
