Jim Leyland Compares Miguel Cabrera To Albert Pujols

Leyland compared Cabrera with St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols, who Leyland called "the best player in the game."

Pujols, like Cabrera, is a former third baseman who made the move to first.

"There's a lot of similarities between the two," Leyland said.

One of those similarities is taking pride in playing good defense.

"You can see his face light up when he makes a good play," Leyland said of Cabrera. "And that's what it's all about."
