The Nationals get a chance to win a game as Jordan Zimmermann takes the hill. Jordan’s opposition batting stats aren’t that great, .286/.348/.500, but most of that came with the bases empty. He’ll face Todd Wellemeyer. Todd’s not walking many and keeping the ball in the park, but his low strikeout rate is leading to a lot of hits against him. His FIP is 2.97, indicating he’s been extremely unlucky.
