Cardinals-Brewers Opener Is Postponed

Even before Friday night's first pitch between the Cardinals and Brewers, the skies over downtown St. Louis were darkening, and there was little doubt that bad weather was on the way. It arrived at 7:47 p.m. CT, and never let up enough to finish the game.

Friday night’s game between the Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers was called at 9:19 p.m., leaving starting pitchers Kyle Lohse and Yovani Gallardo all sweated up with nowhere to go.
