The Year Of The Pujols

Albert Pujols collected two more hits today, both home runs. The grand slam and the three-run shot gives him seven RBI on the day and nine for the season. That puts him in the NL lead in RBI. So far, with a good elbow, Albert’s average line is .429/.538/.905. Note that a .429 OBA and a .538 slugging percentage would the sign of a good hitter, but Albert is doing that with BA and OBA.
