Weather Update; Sunday Lineup & No Move; Game Called

Looking outside the window of my South Loop-area hotel, it's still bleak out. The forecast looks terrible, with a 70% percent chance of rain running all the way through the evening.

We may or may not get a game in. The weather is awful, and the forecast is worse. But they haven't called it yet, and that gives me some notion that they're at least going to try.

A steady rain greeted the Cardinals at Wrigley Field minutes ago when they disembarked from the team bus. The forecast is for no let-up with a solid chance of worsening weather. The vibe is no determination will be made before 7:05 p.m. first pitch. The Cardinals abstained from making a roster move after Saturday’s 11-inning game and hope to make it to tomorrow’s off day without torching the bullpen.
