The San Diego Padres claimed former Cardinals minor-leaguer Luis Perdomo and instantly added him to their major-league bullpen. The Cardinals remain in semi-control of his rights, but the Padres present a roadblock to the righthander’s return.

I just ran into broadcaster Jon Miller on my way into the park, and he said reliever Luis Perdomo, who was in the Giants' camp all spring as a Rule 5 pick, has been claimed by the Padres.
