Today marks the start of a new era for one of Florida's oldest professional baseball facilities.
In a press conference Wednesday morning, it was announced that Minor League Baseball will be taking over the operations of Vero Beach's storied Dodgertown complex. Minor League Baseball brokered the five-year deal with the governments of Indian River County and the city of Vero Beach. Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
