Khalil Greene Out With Forearm Discomfort; Plus, The Lineup

Cardinals shortstop Khalil Greene has been scratched due to discomfort in his right forearm and is expected to be out of the lineup for roughly two to three days.

Shortstop Khalil Greene will likely miss at least the next 2-3 games due to a worsening forearm strain. His absence allows Brendan Ryan to make his third consecutive start tonight in the series finale against the Atlanta Braves. Tonight is the second of those three starts to come at shortstop.
