Ex-Cardinals Watch 4-19-09: Kip Wells On His Way, Jack Wilson Back In Lineup, Jeff Suppan Better Results, Fernando Tatis At 2B

Kip Wells (Nationals):
On Monday, the Nationals will select right-handers Jordan Zimmermann and Kip Wells from Syracuse and recall right-handers Garrett Mock and Jason Bergmann from Syracuse. Bergmann, Mock and Wells will work out of the bullpen.

Jack Wilson (Pirates):
After sitting out three of the past four games, shortstop Jack Wilson was back in the lineup Sunday.

Jeff Suppan (Brewers):
The game didn't start smoothly for Suppan. The Mets scored a run on two hits, a walk and a wild pitch in the first. But he settled down, yielding just three hits over the next four innings and survived a pair of two-out hits in the sixth.
