After losing to the Milwaukee Brewers, 7-4, in an exhibition game Saturday night at Dodger Stadium, the Dodgers -- with 36 players in camp before the game started -- planned to announce their active roster Sunday. However, Dodgers Manager Joe Torre said some decisions had been made, including sending pitcher Jeff Weaver to triple-A Albuquerque to become a long reliever "or if we needed a spot starter."

The Dodgers sent shortstop Chin-lung Hu, pitcher Eric Stults, catcher A.J. Ellis and outfielders Jason Repko and Xavier Paul to Triple-A Albuquerque. And in a surprise move, they assigned non-roster invitee Jeff Weaver to Triple-A and retained left-hander Will Ohman, who was expected to receive work in the Minors before being called up.
