St. Louis Cardinals infielder Brian Barden had plenty of friends and family at Chase Field last night to see him hit his first major-league home run, the deciding home run in the Cardinals’ 2-1 victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks. But, he confided before the game, there will probably be even more here tonight to see the former Arizona farmhand and Tucson resident.
