He won’t be appearing today in any of the convertibles that will may the cold tour of Busch Stadium’s field. He won’t get the handshake greeting from a Hall of Famer. And, he won’t be checking any of the weather reports until he can lick his finger and fire it into the air to check the wind for himself as he trudges out to the bullpen.
