Cardinals manager Tony La Russa attended the World Baseball Classic game Tuesday night between the U.S. and Puerto Rico at Dolphin Stadium in Miami. However, La Russa said he left after the sixth inning and did not witness David Wright's dramatic two-run single that capped a three-run ninth inning for the U.S. and lifted the Americans to a 6-5 win that eliminated Puerto Rico from the tournament.
