First baseman Dmitri Young will continue to get playing time on the Minor League side. Yesterday he played with the Nationals Double-A team against the Astros Double-A players and had two hits. He ran out the base hits, but was pulled after reaching first base.
"It takes more than a week to get ready for the regular season. He's going to have some more at bats, he's going to play some more innings in the field and then we'll evaluate him," Acta said.
There still is no timetable when Young will be available with the big club.
