Longtime Yankees' Adviser Arthur Richman Dies At 83

Arthur Richman, whose lifelong baseball connections influenced Mets trades, prompted the Yankees' hiring of Joe Torre and won friendships on all levels of the sport, died at his New York City home early yesterday. He was 83.
