A town car pulled up outside the St. Louis Cardinals’ spring training complex this morning and third-base coach Jose Oquendo hopped in for the trip across the state to Fort Myers, Fla., and the beginning of his duties as manager of the Puerto Rican World Baseball Classic team. The Puerto Rican team will train on Florida’s West Coast for a few days before starting tournament competition next weekend in San Juan, P.R.
