Chris Carpenter Starts, Colby Rasmus Improving

It was a busy day at the Roger Dean Stadium complex, beginning with a "B" game in the stadium this morning. The staff arranged the game to get some pitchers work, and some of the position players some at bats in a game-like situation. The star of the game was C Matt Pagnozzi, who played left field in this contest. After he bobbled a single, Brian Barden tried to go from first to thrid, but was thrown out at third. Later, he robbed Joe Thurston of an extra base hit with a diving catch on a ball slicing away from him.
