Cardinals Clean-Up Shopping Against Phillies

The Cardinals today play the first of two games near the “other” Florida coast as they face the world champion Philadelphia Phillies at Bright House Field (Capacity: 8,500) in Clearwater. Both teams are approximating their Opening Day lineups except that Phillies former MVP shortstop Jimmy Rollins is missing from today’s action. Manager Tony La Russa continues to audition hitters behind first baseman Albert Pujols as camp’s early clean-up bat, Rick Ankiel, has risen to second in the order. Adam Ottavino, Jess Todd and Trever Miller are scheduled to appear behind Lohse.
