Royals Sign Jamey Wright To Minor League Contract With Spring Invitation
The Kansas City Royals today have signed right-handed pitcher Jamey Wright to a minor league contract for the 2009 season. Wright has been invited to Major League Spring Training, which opens this Friday in Surprise, Ariz.
