Mark Mulder Stepping Up Workouts & Albert Pujols Decade's Leading Batter

Mark Mulder, LHP, free agent: He is stepping up his workouts this week and will be ready to show teams he's ready to go. He appears to have full range of motion in his shoulder and could help on the back end of the rotation.

Shea Hillenbrand, INF, free agent: Since we wrote about Hillenbrand a few weeks back, the former Red Sox infielder has not received any inquiries in his quest to return to the major leagues. Hillenbrand, 32, hasn't even been able to get teams to watch him work out. Is he being punished for past transgressions?

From the Bill Chuck Files: "Albert Pujols is this decade's leading batter at .334, followed by Todd Helton at .332, and Ichiro at .331. So far, Tim Hudson and Randy Johnson are this decade's biggest winners with 135 wins, followed by Greg Maddux, Mike Mussina, and Andy Pettitte with 134 each."
