Here we are at that funny time of year when the future seems hopeful and limitless. Past tragedies and disappointments fade into memories, and we begin to look forward to the possibilities that the future holds. Back when you were in school, summer vacation gave you the same opportunity. The excitement and freedom of long summer days with nothing to do quickly turned to boredom, and as the end of summer approached, you began to look forward to seeing old friends and starting the year off fresh.
