Edgar Gonzalez (San Diego) is batting .273 with one double, one home run, three RBIs, ten total bases, three runs, two walks, four strikeouts, .333 OBP, .455 SLG, and .788 OPS in six games for Mazatlan.

Juan Lucena (Springfield-Free Agent) was 0-for-4 with one walk and one strikeout in three games for Aragua. Lucena spent the season in the Venezuelan Parallel League, getting the call-up just once during the 2008-09 winter season.
Richard Castillo (Quad Cities)made four appearances (one start) posting a 1.74 ERA for Lara. He allowed eight hits, two earned runs, hit two batters, walked five, and struck out five over 10.1 innings. Castillo spent most of the season with Marineros-Lara in the Venezuelan Parallel Western League.
Cesar Izturis (Baltimore) batted .292 with three doubles, one triple, three RBIs, 24 total bases, nine runs, seven walks, four strikeouts, five stolen bases (100%), .370 OBP, .369 SLG, and .739 OPS in 16 games for Lara.
