As a result of realigning three of their minor league manager slots, the Kansas City Royals have anointed Brian Rupp as Wilmington Blue Rocks manager for the 2009 season. Rupp was originally ticketed to reprise his role as manger of Class-A Burlington (IA) in the Midwest League.
