While an anxious Cardinal nation holds its breath over the putative Trever Miller signing — will they? won’t they? — it’s worth thinking about just whom the team’s LOOGys will be facing next year. After all, the Lefthanded One-Out Guy is perhaps the most specialized player on a major-league club, so much so that they can be hired with specific player matchups in mind (whether this is a wise thing is something to be addressed in another post).
