An Answer For Injured Free Agents

As the stories go: Roy Oswalt won a baseball game, Game 6 of the 2005 National League Championship Series, and, as a result, a bulldozer. A clause in his contract called for that unusual compensation. The deal Troy Glaus struck with the Diamondbacks in 2004 included a provision obligating the club to cover the cost of his wife's equestrian training and equipment. And way back when maverick owner Charlie Finley encouraged his A's players to grow facial hair, his club's contract with Rollie Fingers called for $100 for mustache wax.
