The free agent market isn't a vaccuum. Pick a pitcher, any pitcher, and odds are good that this offseason they'll have multiple suitors. It's not often that a Kyle Lohse falls into your lap on a one-year deal. If you look around the league at what each team needs, probably 75% of the teams will say starting pitching.
