he Blue Jays placed third baseman Scott Rolen on the 15-day disabled list with left shoulder soreness following Sunday's 4-0 loss to the Indians.

Apparently, the Indians have given up on Jeff Weaver as a starter. His last two appearances at Buffalo have both been in relief. In four starts at Buffalo, Weaver was 2-2 with a 7.20 ERA.
