For the third straight game Saturday, Cardinals lefthander Ron Villone was brought in from the bullpen and faced San Diego Padres All-Star first baseman Adrian Gonzalez. Villone, a veteran of 14 major-league seasons and 621 big-league games, said he could not recall having done that before.
