The baseball season has gone better than expected for the St. Louis Cardinals. But as long as there are fans who beer up to complain, radio talk shows and Internet forums to amplify their voices and mainstream reporters whose questions lend them legitimacy, the season can be neither perfect nor enjoyed by all.
