Beau Riportella, Batavia Muckdogs: The Tulare Union graduate was sent to extended spring training on April 24 after hitting .094 (3-for-32) for the Quad City Riverbandits in the Single-A. Riportella will play in the New York-Penn League shortseason ball when the league opens up in June.
