The St. Louis Cardinals have assigned Infielder Brendan Ryan to the Springfield Cardinals’ roster, as he’ll continue his minor league rehab assignment. Ryan, who has played for the Palm Beach Cardinals of the Florida State League for the last few days, is on the Disabled List for what is being diagnosed as a right rib cage irritation.
